Faith's new Shabby Chic Guest Room & Pottery of Hers that you can Purchase from Her.
Faith recently decided to redecorate her Guest Bedroom on a Shoestring ..using inexpensive items and repurposing or vamping thrift store treasures.
This incredible head board was Faith's own idea and creation...She made it from garden fencing panels as you can see.
Cutting each one 3" shorter, she graduated the fencing slats ...
Before she assembled it she washed them over with a lovely paint combination making them look worn etc..
Faith also said that she sanded them down so that the wood was no longer rough as it was going to used for sleeping.
Then Faith put a piece of wood on the wall behind the bed and hand screwed each fencing panel to the wood ...the bottom of the head board panels are all the same size making a straight cut across the bottom.
I love the color of the bedding with the headboard and one of my own French peacock pillows (a gift from myself to Faith) just looks at home on the bed doesn't it.
Faith also uses wooded crates to create shelving to display her beloved pottery ..each item is made with great love and attention.
The lovely lamp also found at the thrift store Faith cleverly crochet'd a cover for the shade and added beads to the bottom of it ...it looks really great.
