Queen Elizabeth II turns 92 today, Saturday, April 21 2018.
The Queen will be celebrating her 92nd birthday today by holding a massive party for her family and friends. Throughout the day, there are three midday gun salutes in Hyde Park, Windsor Great Park, and the Tower of London.
Some of the guests that will perform at the Queen’s party include Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue, Shaggy, Craig David, Shawn Mendes, Sting, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Anne-Marie.
In her speech, Queen Elizabeth II made her desires known.
“It is my sincere wish that the Commonwealth will continue to offer stability and continuity for future generations and will decide that one day the Prince of Wales should carry on the important work started by my father in 1949,” Her Majesty said.
I am so thrilled for Prince Charles ..he has wanted to do more and has waited patiently for his Mother to share her duties.
But also saddened because the Queen is slowing down and delegating her duties meaning she is feeling the need to take life easier.
I never thought I would hear such a thing as I have known the Queen accompanied by her beloved corgis all of my life
But the Queen had stopped the breeding program of her Corgis a few years back as she doesn't want to leave behind Corgi's for other to look after when she passes.
Never easy to lose a pet.
Reports from the palace say Queen Elizabeth II is absolutely gutted by the loss of her beloved corgi Willow, the last in a royal line of loyal, nippy dogs who have kept the monarch company during her entire reign.
For more than 80 years, Her Majesty has been surrounded by corgis. There is barely a family portrait that does not include a couple of the cute sandy colored dogs
Elizabeth was mad for Pembroke Welsh Corgis ever since she was a little girl. During her long life, the Queen has not had just a corgi — she has had a pack of corgis. Thirty of them in all.
Thanks for popping by
Happy Saturday to you all
