At the start of the Brand New Year ...Icy Arctic conditions keep us inside our Alabama home dreaming of warmer days to come
So we are warm and cozy inside dreaming of warmer days ahead
But once I can get out and about again I look forward to buying some items at our local Michael's Craft store to make another one that will be hanging on the front door till Spring comes around
I am a big fan of both color and muted browns and beiges ....this one would do easily for the months of January and February
This woodland one would suit our home just perfectly
Go outside and find grasses and plants etc ..that have dried over the winter and cut them before they get cut down in the Spring ..they would add great texture and interest to your homemade wreath.
This is too perfect for a colorful one for Spring time
Mmmm !! iced coffee in many flavors
Both of these above and below would be be wonderful either inside or outside of a Shabby Chic home
I have plenty of Cotton plant buds in our basement ..I must retrieve them as you can use them for great texture and interest to all of your floral arrangements.
I like to use fresh and fabric greenery in my wreaths ..
Moss is another favorite of mine.
Fix them all with either florist wire or your trusty hot glue gun.
Burlap ribbons are a great idea too.
Just have fun ...if you are pleased and like it ..
That is just perfect ...it will make you smile.
So mix 'n' match.
It would go great with the turquoise wall...
We have behind our Cherry wood sleigh bed.
I LOVE the polka dots.
Must go to the Pottery Barn and see what delights.
They have in their sale bins this January.
I am sure there is something I can't live without.
It's a great way to acquire high quality linens and towelling for your home at bargain prices...
If your purse doesn't stretch to that shop at other times of the year ..
A sale bought Pottery Barn linen is a great investment ...their quality lasts so long.
I had fun compiling it for you.
Check out Etsy.com for some lovely home made items for your home.
Most shops will make them with you in mind.
Have plenty of cups of hot tea using your finest china.
And dream of the year to come.
