A Sweet Pottery Gift
I love my Pottery Bird necklace ...A sweet gift from my soon to be Pottery Teacher and my already Dear Friend.
I start my Pottery lessons next week and hope to be able to make my own Pottery necklaces soon.

Sunday 26th March, 2017 is Mother's Day in England ...these arrived for me today from my Son's in Guernsey ...56 Orange, Yellow & Purple Tulips and 10 glorious Sunflowers

Spring 2017 ..Maisonvogue's Pansies are thriving this Season ...with such a mild Winter in Alabama these Pansies are going crazy..
Do you know that you can eat Pansy flowers ..Decorate a Spring themed cake with them ..
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg white with 1/2 teaspoon water.
Using tweezers, hold a pansy and lightly brush both sides of the petals to coat.
Sprinkle with sugar, shaking to remove any excess sugar.
Let dry on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet until pansies feel crisp, about 8 hours.
May be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 year

Pansies have such a happy face and also come in happy colors ...I love to photograph pansies..don't you ?
I love Pansies on our back deck ...I plant them in September/October time and they flower all Winter long till the heat comes in the Summer. A flower that keeps giving ..what's not to love !!
I made this Bee and Honeycomb Platter on my 4th week of Pottery Lessons ...I am very pleased with it and enjoyed choosing the colors of the glaze ..it will be treasured.
I made this cute pottery heart at my 3rd Pottery Lesson ...I enjoyed adding a little bird and flower bead charm and making a necklace for the Summer with it.
Here is the first piece of pottery I ever made a silhouette of birds dinner plate ...made on my very first pottery lesson ....I am very pleased with it ....I used a funky glaze.

Bright Orange Zinnia's are blooming all over Maisonvogue's garden ...just some of the flowers that have grown out of my Wildflower seed packet.
More flowers that have grown from my wildflower seed packets ....I am thrilled with them ..they are everything I hoped and more.
One of my French pillows adorns my friend Faith's gorgeous guest bed ...showing off the wonderful head board that Faith made from fence posts ...I just love the paint treatment she gave it ....perfect .
My home made Sweet Potato bread ...I will post the recipe in the next few days and will post the link here ....it's the most delicious bread .. very easy to make
