The Alabama Summer this Year is making everything grow like Crazy ..it is Bonkers !! 

I glanced out of the Dining Room window today and realized that the Crepe Myrtle tree is heavily laden with pink blossoms this year 
The excessive rain storms and the excessive heat that Alabama is experiencing this year has made the 17 year old tree go mad and create bundles of blooms 
Making the branches droop right down 

The whole of the garden is growing like a jungle ...it's wonderful to see all the blooms that every plant is spilling out this year 

We are told that there is a lack of Bees in the World but not in our garden ...it is a wash with them ..Bumble bees, Honey Bees, tiny, tiny bees all can be heard buzzing all day long ...so busy with all the blooms
We are hardly seeing the Humming Birds at the feeders they are all so busy with all of the flowers they just appear at the feeders now and again 

Most people down in the Deep South cut back their Crepe Myrtles every year to just sticks ...but Crepe Myrtles are not meant to be cut back and when I planted mine 17 years ago I vowed I would never cut them down ..they need the odd branch pruned , such as the 5 that were scraping up on the gutters and side of the house this year but otherwise they are left to be natural and I am so pleased I let them grow ...they make natural arbors in the garden and create a wonderful amount of shade ..much needed here in Alabama 
So I am enjoying my garden going ' Bonkers' this year ( a good old English saying ) 
I am also enjoying the almost daily heavy rain showers watering my garden for free
