Come with me and open the latch and inside you will find a tiny Secret Garden full of wonders , flowers , fruits and vegetables Galore !!! ...in Ryan's Secret Garden  ..Part I
Picture
Whilst in Guernsey Danny and I stayed with my youngest Son Ryan and his Fiancé in their charming little cottage dating back to the year of 1737  when it was built and their tiny little garden of joy ....

Land on the island is very precious and many of the homes have tiny gardens such as this ...but everyone gasps when they open up the garden gate and see what Ryan has created in his small space
Picture
He shares his Mum and Grandmother's green fingers but what I most admire is that he grows most of the flowers, vegetables etc. from seed ..I wanted to share some of the delights of his lovely English Cottage garden
Picture
Ryan loves Dahlia's ..this one is so spectacular
Picture
So pretty with lots of buds giving the promise of more blooms to come
Picture
Picture
Bright Pink Foxgloves are dotted all over the garden ...I don't know the name of the purple one
Picture
There's another Dahlia so very striking against the green leaves behind
Picture
Lots of Broccoli was cut to eat but some was purposely left to go to seed to produce the lovely yellow flower heads
Picture
Picture
Bright red Day Lilies are dotted all over the garden giving a great splash of color
Picture
Award winning Dahlia pops out to show us all of it's brilliance ..saying ' Look at me ! Look at me !'

Blue Berries are just about to play their part ...black currants have already been picked and Ryan made it in to his now infamous jam ...there is a cherry tree filled with red berries so sweet and warm from the sun

Ryan also has Gooseberries, Strawberries, yellow Raspberries, Red Raspberries, Apple trees and Plum trees heavily laden with fruit plumping up ready to ripen in August ...

Small tubs of Spring lettuces and tomatoes perfect for the freshest salad

So much fitted in to such a small garden bountiful in food and flowers and lots of eye candy

Little dappled violet Viola's are not lost in this glorious garden ..standing upright proud to offer ground cover wherever it is needed

Clematis wind their way up towards the sun and Lilac Wisteria ran across the top of the fence all Spring long and now makes a great green border framing the garden

There is so much more in this little garden of wonders that I am blogging it in two parts for you to see

Happy gardening everyone

If you don't have a little bit of soil to grow in buy yourself a small oblong pot and fill with soil and see what you can grow ...there is nothing more satisfying that growing vegetables and flowers for yourself

Thanks for popping by
