My Pottery Christmas Trees
Danny cut a branch in to different sized lengths.
He drilled a tiny hole ..not quite all the way through.
We were going to use wire clothes hangers for the trunk of the trees,
But we must have had extra special clothes hangers as the wire was far too thick !
Danny had a great idea of using electrical wire
He stripped off their plastic coating to reveal their copper colored wire.
And put a little drop of super glue on the end of the wire and pushed it in to the wooden bases.
I did the same to the other end of the wire and put that end in to the little hole I had made in the clay when making the trees.
It fitted perfectly and I love the effect of the copper wire.
I mean to start making Christmas items from July next year as there was so much I wanted to make but time ran out ...
We have our Pottery Christmas Party on Wednesday
If all of my friends say it's ok ..I will take photo's of the delicious food everyone makes.
We are going to have a 'Dirty Santa' with everyone bringing a Christmas Ornament
I have never done 'Dirty Santa' so I will be interested ..apparently you pick a gift and open it
Then someone else can steal that gift from you but no more than 3 times ....then you end up with a Christmas Decoration to bring home.
So we will see how that goes down ...ha! ha!
Happy Days to you
Enjoy your preparations and don't forget to take breaks and enjoy a lovely cup of tea or frothy coffee in a special cup or mug.
It gives you a few moments to reboot.
