Did you watch the Royal Wedding on television ?
Or perhaps you were lucky enough to have been there !!!
This is how I saw this amazing, wonderful day.
The day's weather was so perfect,
The brightest blue skies, not a cloud to be found,
The sun was shining down on them,
Not too hot just a wonderful perfect weather we all dream of ,
Of course the WHOLE day was what dreams are made of.
A handsome and very charming Prince,
Full of joy and fun, a massive sense of duty to his Country,
And the Common Wealth,
Not always confident a little vulnerable,
With a super confident Bride to help him through,
Meghan looking so confident,
Holding and stroking her Darlings hand at all the right times,
With beaming, loving smiles shared by both.
The whole day was full of happiness, joy,
And above all LOVE
As the photo above shows,
Just enough pomp and ceremony,
A wonderful dollop of personal touches,
Beauty not only in Fashion and looks,
But in hearts.
The Ceremony starts with words of love
As Harry leans in and says 'You look amazing, I am a lucky man'
Already gripping my heart
Tears ran down my face a few times being a hopeless romantic,
There was so much love in their faces ….making this sad, at sometimes world look like there is a bit of hope,
As we know LOVE CONQUERS everything.
Her dress was so Meghan …so classy and classic,
So happy that Harry got his girl,
Felt a little sorry that only her Mum was there,
There seems to be some sort of working out to be done with Meghan's family.
All of the music was great,
Especially the English Gospel Singing group singing "Stand by me" brilliant,
The choir and the haunting Angelic singing that greeted Meghan at the Chapel door,
And followed her down the aisle to her sweethearts loving, smiling face.
Flower girls and Page boys so adorable and George behaved himself …ha! ha!
The Twin page boys did a wonderful job arranging and carrying Meghan's train,
I loved the venue …wow I have never been to Windsor just seen it in historical documentaries,
A most visit when we are in London next time,
The security so many policemen with machine guns ….I was praying nothing would go wrong'
Can you imagine if it did !!
And the super trooper The Duke of Edinburgh ….he walked like a teenager after his hip surgery only a month ago....96 years of age and still by his Wife's side.
If it had rained everyone could have sheltered under Camilla’s hat …ha! ha! …very pretty but huge.
Prince Charles had a problem to speak to her around it ,
But she did find it useful to hide behind when laughing her socks off at the ranting preacher,
As in England we don't have preachers that preach like that with so much enthusiasm and humor'
I LOVED it and thought he was a breath of fresh air ..
I just LOVED the amazed faces of the Royal Family and the crowd when the American preacher was ranting on about love,
It was so funny ….The look on Meghan’s face was a picture she enjoyed every minute of it …
I think the Queen did too as she used to love Billy Graham …the evangelist.
I thought at one moment Zara ( Princess Anne's Daughter ) was going to give birth!!
A great day for the story books
Wish I could have been there but I guess we saw more watching it on telly then they did
Driving his bride off in a E Type Jaguar …now electric powered !!!
Looking so dapper in his dress suit and bow tie,
And Meghan once again stunning us all with her gorgeous white evening dress,
Off to the evening party at Harry's Father's party (HRH Prince Charles) just a little way from Windsor Castle.
Where Sir Elton was going to entertain and loud, wild fireworks would end the night,
Bursting through the night's air.
I can't wait to see how their Fairytale and Happy Ever After takes them,
Let’s go on their journey with them and see where it leads us to.
Thanks for popping by
I hope that you were able to watch and enjoy the Royal Wedding
That joined The Duke and Duchess of Sussex together as one
If you missed it I am sure it will be repeated very often in the following week
Especially on BBCAmerica
