2 Mini Naan Flat Breads
2 heaped tablespoons of Marenara Pasta sauce on the base
1Tablespoon of fresh Pesto
1 tiny sliver of thinly sliced Bell Pepper
1 thinly sliced mushroom
6 halved cherry tomatoes
10 very thin slices of Polish sausage
A handful of shredded cheese
2 Quail eggs
I used my toaster oven heated to 450 degrees
Place on oven tray, lined with either parchment paper or non-stick foil
Spread each bread with the Pasta Sauce
Spread Pesto on top
Arrange the other ingredients on top
You can use ham or turkey if you don't have Polish Sausage
Make a small indent in the centre of the cheese topping for the quail egg
DO NOT ADD EGG TILL THE LAST 3 MINUTES OF COOKING
Cook for 7 MINUTES ....then take out and place cracked Quail egg in the centre indentation
Place back in the oven for 3 minutes till egg is cooked
If you don't have a Quail egg then use a Chicken's egg or don't put an egg on but cook for 10 minutes
I am lucky enough to have some Quail eggs from my Dear Friend Heather's Quails.
Thank you Heather
Take out and enjoy !!
Our one task today was to take an hour in the incredible heat of a very humid, Alabama day
To put out 8 bags of Pine Bark Mini Nuggets around the 7 bushes I clipped this week.
It looks great but that was enough work in that heat for Danny and I.
And that was a lovely Sunday
I hope that you had a great day too
Now I must go and cook our evening meal
